New 10" Blade Commercial Deli Meat Cheese Food Slicer Premium Quality

Cut it thin to win
i'm not qualified to discuss durability as I just got this and used it only once. In the past I've used a small fold-up type slicer which performed poorly. People here have objected to the cleaning task. Frankly it was almost as difficult to disassemble my cheap and ineffective rival for cleaning as this thing. Moreover, I have never cleaned a Hobart or any other commercial slicer so I can't properly compare. it does take a little time to remove parts and clean, but my guess is that that is the case for most of the 10" models. I love the ease of slicing, the quality of the slice and the thinness. I won't be buying a dinky piece of meat and then slicing it - the cleanup is too much. But a 6 lb roast? Now you're taking. I just have to find a small forklift to haul this thing around. Perhaps my mother-in-law will do it!

Boyfriend approved
I bought this for my boyfriend's birthday (he did pick it out). He smokes meat and also makes sausage. He wanted to be able to slice items thinner than what we were doing with an electric knife and for the pieces to look good/uniform after slicing. We also want to use it on homemade bread for uniform slices. He used it all weekend and is happy with it. He said it was not the easiest thing to clean but knew that it would probably be that way. Since we are not using it for commercial purposes we are struggling with where to store it, but we knew that was coming also.

cool meat slicer
I just got my slicer and it is the best for the price ,like most real meat slicers not real easy to clean but cut meat and cheese like a dream so you need to cut a load and then clean it. You will like it
