I have look at irons for the last 6 months. This was worth the wait. The iron gets hot in no time, irons like a dream, and the cord retracts with ease. Some I have looked at,the cords had to be forced back in.

Purple Iron!
Have managed to live without an iron for ages but I've decided to give quilting a try and, needless to say, the fabric won't iron itself. Was looking at small "craft" irons but they cost as much, if not more, than a regular iron. Just like another reviewer, I went with this Sunbeam product because it's purple. I also felt the price was right.

I've used it a couple of times and I have no real issues with the iron. I will agree with another reviewer that considering the size of the temperature button, placing it underneath the handle isn't the best design. I do like the idea of the automatic shut off and knowing that just a couple of passes over the ironing surface "resets" the iron. The cord length is adequate and I couldn't care less about the retractable cord as I find myself already feeding it back into the iron. I like the idea that there are two steam functions (Spray Mist and Shot of Steam) even though I don't plan on using either.

Overall? I'm happy...

It is pretty big!
The dial is hard to get a hold of and turn for the settings and this is also what turns it on and off so that is a reason I would not reccommend it. It works OK - MUCH bigger than I thought it would be

Eureka 62137 Style "DCF-6" Vacuum Dust Cup Filter

Do not trust the picture. The actual item is a cheap yellow filter!
I needed to buy a filter for my Eureka vacuum 410. After browsing a couple of sellers on Amazon, I decided to go for this one. Big mistake!!

There are other places selling a yellow filter for 410 and 411. It costs less than 9 bucks. But in the end I decided to go for this one because the picture shows a black filter, which seems to be the same as the original filter in the vacuum, so I thought the $12 extra cost is worth it.

But when I received the package a few days later, I realized that it is exactly the same cheap yellow filter sold at other places!!

I am very disappointed by the seller. Being honest in business is the key to success. I will never buy from them again and I urge all buyers NEVER to buy from them.

Good filter
This filter fits perfectly in our Eureka upright vacuum. Eureaka has stopped making this dust cup filter buy itself. You have to spend big money to buy the entire dust cup along with the filter. Once I saw that this was exactly like the original filter that came with my vacuum I ordered up another one.

Power cord, 6', 1-1/16' spacing, fits roaster ovens.

This cord is perfect! It even looks 'period' like it was made in the 1950's, a real bonus for when the authentic look is a nice touch!

Have NOT recieved the item YET!
I ordered this cord during the week of Sept. 7th and was NOT told that it was out of stock. If I had know that, I would have done something differently. I could have purchased a whole new roaster pan for $30. Now, I have been charged for this one and more than a month later, I still do not have the cord. This is the worst customer service that I have ever seen.

Great device! Works for my purposes!
Whenever I am smoking the smoke always seems to drift towards my wife's face. She has never smoked in her life and does not like the second hand smoke. When I'm exhaling I can blow the smoke out of the way, but when the cigarette is idle the smoke goes where ever it wants. Which like I said is usually my wife's face. With this device I simply set the cigarette in the tray when idle and the Smoke Grabber takes care of the rest. It sucks up the smoke into the overhead lid and draws it through a filter and disipates the smoke. Completely eliminating the second hand smoke that is ever so attracted to my wife's face. A happy wife is a happy life. I would recommend this to anyone who wishes to reduce the amount of second hand smoke. By the way, I have owned this exact model Smoke Grabber for over 9 years now and it is still working like a charm.

I am dissatisfied with this product. You have to open several times before the motor turns on. Also, it has nothing to do with the smoke you are blowing out of your mouth. It only helps when you put the cigarette in the ashtray which is not that often when you are smoking, Right?

I purchased this for our new lakefront cottage, where counter space is at a premium. I was somewhat hesitant to bite the bullet because of the lack of reviews at the time of purchase. I decided to take a chance on this compact oven. I liked that this oven is large enough to put a dinner plate in and the wattage (9000W) is adequate for our needs. We have not noticed any considerable differences in performance from our full-size oven at home. The stainless steel look is pretty nice, making the oven look more expensive than it really is. The buttons are laid out well, and the display is easy to read. No complaints thus far, although we have only been using it a couple of weeks. So far, we have been pleased with this oven.

Great little microwave
Just received this microwave earlier this week. I've used it plenty and not had any issues with defrosting or heating up soups or meals. Only thing missing is an easy 1-minute button. Other than that, I'm very happy with it.

The biggest and most powerful microwave I can find to fit on a 19" fridge.
Used it for a week or 2, this microwave works great.

This is the allergy filter for my furnace, it helps keep this dust levels low in my house which is imperative for allergies and also means less housework. I put one of these in my furnace every fall.

Easy to install
Received in mail delivered to my door. No problems with installation. I did not notice any faults with the product and stuck it right inside the furnace in the attic. One year later, time to replace!

This is not identical to the one that originally comes with the microwave, but it does fit - somewhat. Although it "sits" on the rotating carousel, it is smaller than the original plate (which, for perfectionists may be a small inconvenience, but for the rest of the population, it should be just fine!)

Fagor Portable Induction Cooktop

what a great experience
Wow! I just cooked up some chicken the way I've dreamed of making it: small bite size pieces fried/steamed/ and crustied in a mix of oils: I used coconut, sesame and olive; and then a little bit of honey; and the juice of one lime.... This mixture never would fly in my electric fry pan - because of the many different heat levels I use.

I put the chicken in the oils and cook until it turns white and I put the lid on the pan so it steams through.

Then I add the honey and lime and throw in the lime skins for extra flavor, but then I turn up the heat really high to brown it; and then, here's the trick: I turn the heat off so it doesn't burn.

With the way induction heating goes, its really instant. Press the button and the heat goes up and down that quickly and it doesn't stay on the burner, just in the pan the food its being cooked in.

No more chopping and preparing while the meal is cooking--this is a quick way of cooking and everything needs...

What an amazing little cooktop - cooks in 1/3rd the time
We bought this induction cooktop a month ago for our new house. We have electric stove in the house as well - We have always worked on gas and therefore did not like electric. My sister in law highly recommended induction cooking to us - she is a leading endocrinologist and an expert in nutrition. I was a bit apprehensive in the beginning but before spending $3000 on a Bosch or a Miele, I decided to try with a single cooktop. But wow what a machine. It cooks in 1/3rd the time of electric or gas. My mom has been using gas stove for years and she was blown away by how quickly she can cook anything on induction. I clean the kitchen, and what a relief this machine is. Since the surface (Ceram Schott glass surface) does not get hot (induction cooking is based on magnetic base and only heats the base), you can just wipe off the spills. I use CeramBryte to keep the Ceram Schott surface looking like new and it takes no more than 27 seconds (yes I times it!).

Fantastic to cook with, boils water very quickly
This unit was purchased to replace a failed induction cooktop from another manufacturer (W*ring Pro - actually I went through two units in just 13 months!). I couldn't be happier with the decision to buy the Fagor. The smooth top is easy to clean and the touch controls work very well (sometimes too well, but no complaint). The unit has 7 power levels, all of which work as described. My only "quibble" is with the timer - once it's set it doesn't show on the display and if you go back into the timer function it clears the previously set timer, it's definitely not a deal breaker for me.

Decent machine
First dehydrator we have ever had, so my review is based on what I experience with this one only. Disappointed in the time it takes to dehydrate the fruit or spice leaves. I'm assuming it has a fan that helps circulate the hot air but can't find anywhere in literature about it. We have heard that having a fan helps speed up the process. It's a nice looking unit and doesn't take up much space. If we need to get another one though. I think we would get a more professional one like an ex-caliber.

Pros: Looks good design wise, economical, storage is good, quiet enough for me but as expected.
Cons: Time to dehydrate could be quicker, not sure if noise is actually from fan or not.

Low Profile trash bag...make sure this is what you need
Please note that these are LOW PROFILE Broan bags, and will not fit the regular Broan trash compactor. I've ordered Broan bags from amazon before, but I got it wrong this time. The bag is about 25% too small for the regular compactor, so there's no way to force a fit. They are nice and thick, dark brown color.

3. Pizza pan with hole, this is specially designed for cooking a pizza, the holes help to get a very crispy crust when baking a pizza, if you use the Browning pan which is no holes, you can not get the crust.

They Work Great If Installed Correctly
Okay - after reading the negative reviews I was a bit nervous but these looked like the perfect solution to have valves to turn on/off water input/output, pressure relief and flush valves/system all in one neat piece. I am pretty handy but probably not more so than anyone who will install their own tankless water heater. So, I did what I usually do - neatly measured and cut all of the copper pipe and along with the gas pipe assembled everything from the source all the way to the tankless heater but held the soldering. When you assemble everything like this before you solder, you are pretty sure everything is lined up and that is the key if you never want to have a leak. As a hint, when you connect the unions at the top of the valve pull out that rubber compression washer and hand tighten the unions - that keeps the washers from getting damaged or warped when you eventually solder. So, when it is all assembled and everything is aligned and straight you start soldering. When...

Webstone isolators
Save your money, these leak, period! We install tankless water heaters and webstone's are notorius for for leaking. Unless this company can create a gasket that does not distort and leak, it's scrap metal in a box.... I do not recommend this product at all

I bought these for my Bosch tankless system as Bosch instructions recommends them for installation. I found they both leak no matter what we do to correct. Will be returning them and buying another brand of isolation valves for my system.

Dylos DC1100 Pro air quality monitor

Outstanding product - especially if you have asthma
I honestly can't remember if I bought my unit from this particular seller, or from another...But I've now had my unit for several years. I have Cough Variant Asthma (A yucky kind of asthma that can make you cough so hard you crack a rib...not fun). I began to notice a correlation between dust in the air and my asthma symptoms, and allergy counts and my asthma. I wanted to buy air cleaners, but they're so expensive...are they really worth it? Well, I finally reached a point that I was ready to MANAGE this asthma, regardless what it took - it was destroying my quality of life.

So...I ripped out all my carpeting and put in a hardwood floor. I bought a very good IQ Air air cleaner (I highly recommend these, by the way). I started using high-end air filters in my house (I now use Filtrete Elite Allergen 2200 air filters in my home heating/AC system).

The laser particle sensor shown here - the Dylos product - was instrumental in helping me figure all this out!! I have...

Very useful for controlling indoor air quality
I believe strongly that if you are trying to control a parameter, you should measure it if at all possible. Closed-loop control systems just work better. The best examples I have are pretty technical, but the rule applies to simple household problem just as much as to fancy engineering problems. For instance, before getting and using a hygrometer, I fumbled around with numerous strategies to keep up the humidity in my apartment in the winter. Once I got the hygrometer, I was able to solve the problem once and for all in just a few days.

A particle counter is to dust levels what a hygrometer is for humidity. They are useful if you have a respiratory condition, or if you work in a place (like a wood shop) with so much dust that even those without respiratory conditions could easily end up getting one if they're not careful. Unfortunately, most particle counters are expensive. This one is not, which may lead you to suspect that it's a toy.

1 The count is not accurate,as Air moisture and temperature will greatly affect the result. As we all know, Water is everywhere-even in the air.
It seems that this device can not make a distinction between "water vapor&" and "particles".The device's reading is so high in raining days.
The count of PM2.5 is not accurate, especially when the air moisture level or temperature is high.

2 This device can not provide PM2.5 count based on the official FDA or WHO measurement---μg/m3.
Some sellers says u could "transfer" or "calculate" betwent the reading from this device to "μg/m3"-----it's a huge misleading to buyers and it's impossible.
The result from this device is uncomparable to all the official PM2.5 data.

Lastly but most importantly,
The manufacturer provide a VERY VERY POOR service,

This worked perfectly for an existing Hunter fan that I had. The remote had failed on it, so this was the only way I knew to replace it. This replacement remote came with an attachment to retrofit existing non-remote Hunter fans. When I opened the box, I cringed, hoping I wouldn't need it. In side the replacement remote there was a simple switch used to code the remote to the fan's control unit. It is similar to some cheap garage door openers. I played with the coding switch and quickly stumbled across the code to my present fan. I put all the rest of the equipment that came with the remote back in the box and into storage. I don't care for how this replacement remote sits on the room's light switch as it is easy to knock off, but I guess I shouldn't complain as it does work.

Easy Solution
This was an easy solution to a problem. A few years ago I added a remote and receiver while installing a ceiling fan. The initial installation took quite a bit of time but it has worked perfectly for the last 7 years. Recently, only the remote portion failed. I didn't want to go through the trouble of installing another one so I bought this JUST for the remote. Just like another reviewer, I opened the box, installed a battery and set the pins to the same setting as the old remote.

It works perfectly. The light goes on. The light goes off. Hold the button down and it dims. And there are 3 settings for fan speed. Low, Medium and High.

It works.

WOW makes the whole house smell great
I bought this item thinking that it would work nice for a small bedroom. I am amazed it actually makes the whole house have a nice clean smell. Ok, this is the first time I have wrote a review for anything. But I wanted to say that I really love ours. I originally got it to put in our dining room, but since we have a bigger, bulkier air purifier in our livingroom, I decided to put the EcoGecko in our room. It has a blue light on it that you can turn off and on (i use it as a nightlight). You can control the speed to it, also. During the day I have it up pretty high but at night while we're sleeping I turn it down about mid-way that way it isn't very loud. You also get a free little thing of the EcoGecko Scented Oil, I got Lavender. I like to clean the bowl out before bed, soap and water and scrub it good. Then fill it up to the highest mark, add a few drops of the lavender oil (and a few drops of some peppermint oil that I had before) and it makes a GREAT relaxing scent. I have now had it for about 2 months and it has been used EVERY day since then. I am even planning to get one for my 3 year-olds room :) ...an air...

This air purifier if AMAZING!!! I can actually see how much it cleans the air. After just a few hours the water was cloudy. I put it in my daughter's room. She smoked cigs in there with her freind. This air purifier pulled the VOCs for the smoke filled air into the water. The water was actually brownish and there was notable decrease in the stench of the cigs. I have owned purifiers costing hundreds of dollars. This lil baby is the best I have ever seen! It easily cleans a small to medium room upt about 15x15

Let me first state that this item is a life savor..it gets really hot in church and i am pregnant and will be delivering in August so i needed something to stick in my bag. Obviously, the right part, it works, is much less expensive than at any of the appliance parts websites, never mind brick and mortar stores. If you have a refrigerator with a through-the-door ice and water maker, and the water works intermittently -- sometimes fine, sometimes nothing -- it could well be this part. It was for me. Swapping it in and out takes 10 minutes at most -- there are videos online and on youtube that walk you through it, though its pretty obvious

My kids and I have always loved kettle corn and enjoy making the treat at home. You can do it with regular sugar but things always end up burning. I used to like a back to basics product that Target sold "called sweet butter". I have not been able to find this for sometime and it's been a number of years since I ordered it. I thought I would give this stuff a try and I'm glad I did. It has a great flavor. Directions are easy to follow. Just make sure you go easy on the heat like it says. You only need about medium temp or things will start to burn. Does a nice job. Clean up isn't too difficult if you do it right away. I make this in my popper with oil, 1/2 cup seeds and then 1/4 cup of this mix. There is a little salt in the mix but not enough for my liking. I usually add some more after it's popped for a little salt/sweet combo. If you don't like the salt then this should be about perfect for you.

Great Kettle Corn Taste
This product is the real deal! If you follow the directions on the carton and add just a little more than you have awesome kettle corn right on your stove. Now we use a Whirly-pop popper and also the coconut oil for popping. If you like kettle corn this is the right stuff to buy!

Very Tasty!
I like to get kettle corn when I see it at the state fair or similar events with a vendor. When I saw this on amazon I decided to give it a try. I use it in my stove top hand crank popcorn maker. I like things sweet and always wished the fair vendors would make their kettle corn a little more salty / sweet. Well with this stuff I can do so at home. I use about a 1/4 cup of oil with 1/2 cup of pop n glaze kettle corn flavor and maybe some salt from a shaker on top of the popcorn when it's all said and done. This makes the popcorn come out more glazed and extra sweet, wouldn't recommend it this way unless you would like to try it extra sweet.

Pro Tip: Get the pop n glaze hot and mixed with the oil prior to adding the popcorn kernels. Makes the mixing easier, just don't turn up the heat too much or you can burn the pop n glaze before the kernels get hot enough to pop.

Enjoy the best at home kettle corn you are likely to find!

Genuine OEM FSP Whirlpool Kitchen Aid Blender Rubber Seal

The seal that saved my blender!
I seem to have misplaced my seal for my kitchen aid blender and without it a $100 blender is worthless. I looked at stores and it was over $15 and other online places it was only a couple bucks, but then $10 in shipping for such a light little rubber seal. Finally i found the seal for a couple bucks and shipping was only $3. The whole thing for only $5 and my blender works excellently!

Type F Riccar Vacuum Cleaner Replacement Bag (6 Pack)

Fast service, great price.
These bags are the exact same as I have been purchasing for my Riccar at a higher price locally (which also means gas to get there [15 mi] and sales tax). Really good savings, really good bags.

When I first purchased my Riccar, the sales person suggested this bag as an alternative for the HEPA bag, being significantly less expensive (he stated he has allergies and had no problems with the bag filtering the allergens). It works very well, although if you really need HEPA filtration, you may want to go the extra expense.

Kenmore Progressive Upright Vacuum - 31069 - Red Pepper

Best Vacuum Ever!!
When it came time to replace my vacuum I went to "Consumer Reports" and chose their "best buy", which was the Kenmore Progressive vacuum. As usual, I was not disappointed with their choice. The vacuum is lightweight, has excellent suction and very easy to switch between carpet and bare floors. It is also great on bare floors. The only thing I wish was different is the length of the hose. It takes too much time to unwrap the hose to make it longer for use with the attachments. I would still purchase the vacuum because it is that good. I don't like to vacuum but I can truly say I don't mind vacuuming since purchasing the Kenmore.

Doesn't Disappoint!!
The Consumer Reports' recommendation was why we bought it, and it has not disappointed! This vacuum is considerably lighter than my previous BIssell. It picks up well and transitions from carpet to floor pretty easily. I have only one very small critique, and that is the clip at the bottom of the back of the vac that secures the hose in place. The Bissell that preceded this one had a nice design that didn't need a clip. The clip on this one has to be slid away to remove the hose....a tad bothersome to do in the first place, and further complicated by the fact that it doesn't always cooperate. But it's a minor detail....the vac so far has been wonderful...and best of all, it's a proper anti-allergy vac. Sealed HEPA filters are great and all (and this vac has all that), but it means nothing if you then have to go dump a bagless canister that kicks up the very dust it just picked up! This, quite fortunately, is a wonderful bagged unit! Recommended!!!

Great Vacuum
Brought the Kenmore Progressive Upright Vacuum to replace a Hover Tempo upright. The Hover Tempo would loss suction very fast and has a hard time picking up dog hair. We have a short hair dog Beagle/Whippet [Mix] and it had a hard time picking it up. The Kenmore Progressive Upright Vacuum had no problem with the dog hair and anything else. The Kenmore Progressive Upright Vacuum had no loss of suction even when the bag was almost full. The only downside of the Kenmore Progressive Upright Vacuum is the small rotating brush does not work very well on carpeted stairs. It pretty much stops when you put any press on it. It's only runs with the suction of the Kenmore Progressive Upright Vacuum. This would happen with any brush like this. My brother has a Dyson with the same problem and he paid a lot more then I did. The brush works fine on bare floors. Overall Kenmore Progressive Upright Vacuum is a very good vacuum and very happy with the buy.

Hamilton Beach 59785R 2-Speed Hand Blender with Case, Black

So far so good
We had a Rival immersion which was highly rated for a short time before I burned out the motor making whip cream. I since bought a regular mixer for making whip cream it does a far better job than an immersion blender.

I make a lot of cream soups and it is great for that without lugging out the big blender not to mention the clean up, the blender will soon be relegated to the basement as a back up. I like the case, it puts everything in one place and easy to store away. There is a milk shake attachment which is very nice and a whipping attachment, I suppose that would be much better for whip cream. I can see a lot of shakes and smoothies coming this summer with my new toy.

Someone mentioned clean up in the dish washer, a little tip for any immersion blender. As soon as I finish with it, I fill a glass or bowl with hot sudsy water and buzz it for a few seconds and then rinse, works great and just wipe off and put away, couldn't be easier.

Only Used 3 Times
I loved this immersion blender until the plastic casing on the immersion blender cracked after only the 3rd time using it. I was making carrot-pumpkin soup and needed to puree the carrots, and did not want to haul out my blender. This was a perfect use for the immersion blender. I've used it before twice on other soups, so I know that I didn't over-use its capacity. My soup turned out wonderfully, but after I rinsed the detachable wand, I noticed soupy-water still trapped inside and saw the 2-inch long crack.

I'm disappointed in this product, because I loved the ease of use and clean-up. I'm not sure if I'll keep this and use the other attachments, but now I need to get another immersion blender.

Broke after 3 uses!
I have used this blender 4 times only to notice that the plasting casing on the blender cracked and soup-water keeps trapped inside (I've only used for soups). There's a crack that goes all the length of the device. I called customer service and they said their 1-year warranty only covers the motor and they tried to sell me the immersion blender for $12. Ridiculous! I really liked this product but I'm not going to buy an attachment that I know only last a few times... and the customer service at Hamilton Beach was awful!

BestAir SG4 Aprilaire 401 Space-Gard Media Filter

Excellent filter, Great Price!
This filter seems to have the same quality as the filters I had been buying from local HVAC dealers, but at almost half the price! Would definitely buy this again!

Lowest price replacement filter media I could find
Filter seemed slightly longer than necessary and the mineral filter material on the ends of the plastic frame it sits in causes the ends of the filter to bunch up on the air intake side. While the combs separate the filter on the other side, it bunches up on the air intake side. I think the combs should be on the intake side to optimize air flow across the filter media, but I didn't design the filter. (The plastic frame can be reversed in the filter box but then the removal handle is not accessible to remove the plastic frame due to the metal guides which fit into groves in the plastic frame).

Nice, BUT Don't Turn On Your Oven!
Works great UNTIL you turn on your oven (FYI-I have a brand new "cool touch" MAYTAG gas range), the GLUE seperates from the magnet and now it looks like a Salvador Dali painting & the SELLER WILL NOT RESPOND to my EMAILS!!!

Didn't work for me
I thought these were T-shaped, but they are L-shaped and didn't cover the gap between counter and stove. They are supposed to be magnetic, but I'm not sure they are. They didn't fit my situation well at all. I found T-shaped silicone extenders at Wal-Mart for about $6 each.

Even after seeing other reviews,that stated they melted and pulled away from the magnet, I had to try these because they were L shaped. I could not find an L shaped stainless steel. I loved the way the looked when I first got them. However, the first time I used a large pan, they melted. Very dissapointed that a product designed for a stove cannot handle the heat.

Type G Bosch Vacuum Cleaner Replacement Bag (5 Pack)

Decent replacement bags
Decent replacement bags and I've used many of these with no problems. I would have rated them at 5 stars but they do have one small glitch. I believe these were originally designed for older Bosch models with an elongated container/bag compartment. The current model bag compartments are wider than long so that's the glitch. The Bosch bags are designed for this and if you're looking for a better fit, then I'd choose that route. But for the price, these are a great alternative. In my opinion 20 bags at the same cost as 5 Bosch bags is worth it.

They do fit fine and might hold a little less due to being lengthwise. Instead of just inserting the bag, I will open/fluff it up and then insert it. It takes all of about 10 seconds. If you just insert the bag, the bottom folds over and obviously it'll affect how much it can hold. As a quick comparison Bosch bags sit sideways and these sit lengthwise.

Not the real thing
The description led me to believe that this was a replacement Bosch type G bag. The image was of a Bosch bag. The item received, however, was some off brand (I should have guessed by the price). I called the vendor and they readily agreed to take these back and sell me the real bags, which are much better at filtration and are well made.

I resent having to go through this excercise because of a misleading product photo.

Let the buyer beware!

Effective and Convenient!
The first thing you should know about this thing, is that it's not a two foot long piece of butcher's iron. The whole thing in its case (which has a handy pocket clip) is about five inches long. The second thing you should know is that if used properly, it is the quickest and most convenient way to sharpen anything from a kitchen knife to a bowie knife you'll find.

The rod does eventually wear down, but you can get replacements for the shaft and not replace the whole thing. I'm thrilled with this little thing, and happily give it five stars.

Glad I now have a "spare"
This filter fit perfectly into our Dyson DC25 Animal vacuum cleaner. I found it frustrating to wait 24 hours to use the vacuum after cleaning out the old filter. My solution has been to buy an extra filter and rotate it with the old one so there is always a clean one to put in the filter holder. Unlike other reviews I've seen here, my particular filter fit like a glove and I did not have to make any modifications whatsoever. Once installed it works great pre-filtering and keeping our house that much cleaner.

Uber Goop WHITE Dishwasher Rack Paint & Glue w/80 caps

Works better than expected - but lots of prep!
I hadn't anticipated the amount of prep that would be required to make a good, long-lasting bond with the vinyl liquid and cap when I purchased this product. BUT! The caps have stayed on absolutely perfectly in about a month and a half of almost daily running of my dishwasher.

PROS:
1) Does what it's supposed to do: they fit on the tines snugly, stay on, prevent rust transfer to dishes, seem to keep rack tines from rusting further . For these reasons alone the kit would get 5 stars easily as far as I'm concerned.

2)the caps also cushion our dishes better than anything I've seen on any factory-provided rack tines. Dishes don't get beaten up by tines but it's nice to get the sense that our dishes are getting gentle treatment after a couple years of scraping and rust stains from the worn tine tips...

CONS:
1) The liquid vinyl dries too quickly. Be sure to get the stuff into the cap and the cap onto the tine within 15 seconds or so or the...

Good product. Worked as advertised. Minor difficulty in getting the glue to "drip" into the caps before you stick them to the rack posts. The easiest way we found was to squeeze the cap closed around the middle, place the glue at the opening, and then release the cap slowly to draw the glue into the cap.

A perfect solution!
When I discovered strange etchings and scratches on some of my dishes, I had no idea what was a causing them. Though it took longer than it should have, I eventually realized that the problem lied with my dishwasher. The soft covering of some of the tines was wearing off around the tips, and in some cases, was completely gone. I looked into many possible solutions, but most were either way too expensive or looked completely unreliable. I decided to try this product based on it's positive reviews on Amazon, and now it's my turn to contribute my own.

In short, this product does exactly what it claims, and it does it perfectly. I used the caps to repair many of my tines, and used the paint-on vinyl to fix damaged bars and touch up tines with minor damage. It took no longer than 15 or 20 minutes to install all 80 caps and brush the vinyl on the remaining problem areas.

The Right Part
This is the second time in 7 years that I have had to replace the lint screen cover due to rough handling by guests at our beach house, where the washer is located. The last time around, I ordered the complete replacement assembly as the only option I could find at the time. This tine around, this piece alone cost more than the assembly did the last time, but I could not even find the part on the Whirlpool website -- or anywhere else at a better price. It works as it should.

Propane Tank Refill Adapter EZ Coupler

I did not think it would be this easy.
After reading the low star ratings, I was hesitant in ordering this. But I decided to give it a try. When I received it, I tried it out going against the suggestions about freezing the bottles. The propane leaked and did not fill the bottle at all. I thought "Son of a crap, it's not going to work." But after putting the bottles in the freezer for a couple of hours and trying it again, it worked better than expected. I had the source tank upside down and it caused the neck of the disposable to bend a little because of the fast temperature change and the weight of the propane going into the bottle pulling it down. (That's my guess why) So next time I will try laying the source tank on its side. That will also help keep any particles that were in the source tank from going in.

Complete Junk....
As it comes delivered this thing is a completely worthless leaking fire hazard that will ruin your bottles you are trying to fill as well as the bottle you are filling with.... Being a Marine Engineer I had all the tools to make this piece work, but at a low hourly rate it would have cost me $60.00 to make this thing useable.... The outer threads needed machined to fit this in the filling bottle first, just to find out that the stem inside was machined wrong and slicing the tiny seals in my one pound bottles to be filled, so fixed that next just to find out that the red sealing gasket for the one pound bottles in this thing is not a gasket at all and leaked more propane than it put in the bottles.... So.... then I had to make a proper sealing gasket as well.... One thing after another, should have just sent it back when I noticed the first problem I guess, but, hours later and I have this this thing re-machined and gasketed so that it actually works, and it only ruined one of my one...

Amazing Appliance, Loving It!
This meat grinder works beautifully, VERY easy to assemble and to take apart to wash, everything goes right in the diswasher and cleans up great. Hve ground, beef, chicken and turkey so far and have made the most delicious low fat low calorie dishes ever! Even made dog food for our Doggies with chicken. No mess at all. Get this one if you are just starting out. Will probably upgrade in the next year to a larger unit since we are so pleased with the results. going to make vegetable and potato sausage as soon as casings arrive.

Maximatic meat grinder
First off, I want to rate Amazon's service. My grinder came missing the coarse cutting disc and they FedExed me a new box overnight. Outstanding service. I ran it for the first time today and ground up beef to make beef jerky.

Some might complain about the sound, but it packs a 550 watt motor. It won't be soft and weak. This is a workhorse. I noticed that the grind housing rocks a bit back and forth during grinding, but it grinds effortlessly so it must not be a big deal. Cleaning and assembly is a piece of cake.

This is a great addition to any kitchen as you don't really know what's in ground beef at the store. I read a NY Times article which exposed that most ground beef isn't inspected. I'll be grinding my beef thank you very much.

I was debating between this model and the Waring MG100. The Waring has good reviews, but saving $10 and getting a stronger motor made sense to me and it was worth it.

Heavy, bulky and noisy, takes a lot of place on the counter.
Lasted just a couple of months of light usage after which the output shaft just stopped spinning. Customer service is not very responsive with warranty claim, still trying to get RMA, they just do not return calls or reply to emails.

Aroma ARC-1266F 12-Cup (Cooked) Rice Cooker and Food Steamer

Great rice cooker
This thing works great, and it steams veggies at the same time!!!! Just read the instructions thoroughly. If you are cooking brown or wild rice the water measurements are different. Rice comes out fluffy and moist every time. And, it stays moist on the warm setting too. I had it in there staying warm for over an hour and you wouldn't have known it, seriously. Buy this!

Great buy -- doubly so, for the price!
Wanted to make some great sushi -- and this pot turned out fabulous rice, couldn't have been better for the task! Also, since getting this Aroma, I've done several one-dish dinners in it, steaming meat & veggies right with the rice. Its done a dynamite job -- almost like having a cook in the house, finishing off dishes for me. Easy to clean, quick to store, and absolutely as represented -- an inexpensive yet faithful piece of equipment with nice range of skills. Plus -- you can cook -- and transport -- hot food in it to a potluck dinner, easily -- and without getting burned. How's that for the price?!!!

Great for the price
This is a really cheap rice cooker, so naturally it's very simple and isn't as versatile as the more expensive models. However, if all you're interested in is the basic functionality, it does the job almost perfectly.

If you've ever used a rice cooker you probably already know everything there is to know about it, they all follow the same pattern. It's got a non-stick pan, a warming function, a spoon and a cup and a steam tray. Basic stuff so i won't go into that.

I'm not sure if there is any real difference in cooking times between different rice cookers (i would assume not since rice can only absorb water so quickly), but this does the job well. A cup or two of white rice takes 15 or 20 minutes to finish; if it's brown rice it'll be more like 30. It seems slightly faster than boiling, but not by much. (Definitely way more convenient though.)

I was speechless when I opened the box and found an OE part from the manufacturer for less then a fourth of what they wanted at my local appliance shop ($210.95) fit right in it has the natural gas orifice on it when you buy it so if you have propane you need to take the old orifice off your safety valve for it to work correctly no complaints whatsoever if you need it.. BUY!

Perfect Replacement
My Kenmore range was popping the GFI outlet in my kitchen. I isolated the problem to this valve. When I disconnected the electrical connections to the valve, the stove (except for the oven, of course) worked fine and did not pop the GFI outlet. A check with a meter confirmed that it had a partial short to the case.
The replacement unit arrived quickly, and installed easily.

Blueair 403 HepaSilent Air-Purification System

Great quiet air purifier
Some of the online specs are misleading. The Blueair 403 unit (at least the one I received) actually has 4 speeds, just like the Blueair 402! Even the manufacturer's own website as of this review lists it as having only 3 speeds. The only difference between the 402 and 403 is that the 403 comes with a small electronic timer that is magnetic (you can put it on your refrigerator or on the Blueair unit itself) which shows you when 6 months are up and it's time to replace the filter. This is handy, but not really needed. So, if you can still find a 402 (now discontinued) for a good price, I'd recommend you grab it!

This is a great unit but it is a bit larger than I expected. If you have a small bedroom or office, it may look a bit imposing. It runs very quiet at the two lowest settings and even at the third setting, I found the sound soothing enough to sleep with. In fact, the first night I had it, I put it on the 3 speed setting and found the sound quiet nice and...

Nice purifier, but the warranty is a scam!
I bought this purifier based on it's build quality and purification capabilities, and also because of the 10 year warranty stated on the amazon page. The unit is powerful and cleans the air in my bedroom very well - within two days, it has completely relieved my sinus problems during this heavy pollen season. I would rate this purifier five stars, if the warranty was not a complete scam: it states on the amazon website that there is a 10-year warranty. However, the warranty information that comes with the purifier states that there is only a one-year limited warranty, and that that warranty is only valid if you have proof that you replaced the filter after 6 months. So, if you were not to replace your filter, the warranty would be valid for only 6 months.

You CAN get a 5 year warranty, and even a lifetime warranty, if...

Quiet Enery Efficient and it Works!
I should start with the fact that everyone in our household has allergies, even the dog I think, but that had not been confirmed. Currently we have the Blueair units in all the bedrooms and family room. The best thing about Blueair units is they work! We really feel a difference. Before getting Blueair my wife was not able to sleep thru the night. She would get congested and her throat would get dry so she kept waking up to drink water. Whatever was giving her trouble is now gone from the air and she is finally able to get a good nights sleep.
Outside the fact that this unit cleans the air, I do also like that it is steel construction ( I did a lot of research and that is hard to find), its quiet!!!, and its energy efficient. As for warranty, the warranty card says mail in for free 5 year warranty.

Hunter 44360 Set and Save 7-Day Programmable Thermostat

Best $50 I've Spent
This thermostat is worth every penny! It does exactly what it should do, and the instructions were perfect for my heating/cooling system. I didn't have any problems putting it in.

What the other review didn't mention is that this thermostat has extra features over the other Hunter models. The big difference is the Energy usage information. It tracks the amount of time that the system was on today, yesterday, this week, last week, and total since you installed it. It's neat being able to come home and see that the air conditioning was on for only 30 minutes, or on for 2 hours. This helps you figure out how your thermostat settings are affecting your real energy usage. It also has a filter reset reminder, which tracks the number of hours that the system has been used with the current filter. This is useful, since most filters say they last 3 months. But the real lifetime of the filter is based on how much air has been blown through it. You could run it for 12 hours...

Great value and aesthetic quality, but a WORD OF CAUTION:
After about 2 weeks use, I am very pleased with this thermostat. It works as advertised, is easy to set up (don't know what the other reviewer was talking about...if anything about this would be difficult, it would be the way your existing wiring is set up, NOT the way this thermostat sets up. It's a totally standard installation for this type of unit), and the blue indiglo looks really nice when it comes on. I also like how all but 3 buttons are concealed by the front swing-down lid, which gives it a cleaner, simpler look as opposed to resembling something you'd see in a cockpit. The features are pretty much the same you'd get on comparable models, PLUS my favorite of all, the energy monitor function. I'm sort of a geek when it comes to stats and energy use, weather, etc. and it's fun to keep track of how much time your system worked for during each day, week...it makes it easier to predict your next heating/cooling bill. Most of the competing thermostats cost 2-3 times as much...

A good, full function thermostat
This unit represents a good value. It has lots of thoughtful features, such as a button to tell it that you are home for the day and want the heat to stay on, and a meter than tells you how many hours of heat you have been using. It also offers plenty of programming flexibility that you would have to pay more for with products from other manufacturers.

I also use the backlit 5-2 Honeywell. The Honeywell costs more, has fewer features, and in my view, at least, is not meaningfully easier to program, and is certainly no easier to use on a daily basis. I felt the Hunter had better installation instructions. The Honeywell's biggest strength is that it is smaller. Using it, I often find myself wishing it had some of the features found on the Hunter.

My biggest gripe with this Hunter model is that the backlight makes an annoying, high pitch noise. It is also a little too large for my taste. Dollar for dollar, though, versus the competition, this is money well...
